The first generation (1961-1967) was a flat front, cab-over design with the engine mounted between the two front seats. The second generation (1968-1974) was basically the same but with a short hood. 1975-1991 was the body that we all came to know with its longer hood and cab forward design that carried thru 2014 with cosmetic changes.
